«Auto Repinga» is a raw self-portrait that erupts with violence, fragmentation, and irony. The work belongs to a Neo-Expressionist and Art Brut lineage, where the act of painting becomes a scream rather than a depiction. The figure’s face is shattered, scratched, and engulfed in a torrent of black and red gestures, evoking wounds, anger, and the collapse of identity.

Around the central head, ghostly masks emerge—faces without clarity or permanence—suggesting the multiple identities, disguises, and contradictions that inhabit the human psyche. The chaotic scribbles of crimson not only conceal but also expose, leaving the viewer suspended between humor, rage, and despair.

The words “Auto Repinga” written at the bottom reinforce the irony and ambiguity of the piece: a cry of frustration, a self-definition born from vulgarity, and a sarcastic nod to existential exhaustion.

This piece situates itself within Neo-Expressionism, Brutalism, and Art Brut, with echoes of Psychic Automatism. It is both personal diary and violent satire—an image of the self in dissolution.

«Auto Repinga» es un autorretrato crudo que estalla en violencia, fragmentación e ironía. La obra se inscribe en una línea neoexpresionista y de Art Brut, donde el acto de pintar se convierte en un grito más que en una representación. El rostro de la figura aparece desgarrado, tachado y devorado por un torrente de gestos en negro y rojo, evocando heridas, rabia y el colapso de la identidad.

Alrededor de la cabeza central emergen máscaras fantasmales—rostros sin claridad ni permanencia—que sugieren las múltiples identidades, disfraces y contradicciones que habitan en la psique humana. Los garabatos frenéticos de carmín no solo ocultan, también exponen, dejando al espectador suspendido entre el humor, la furia y la desesperación.

Las palabras “Auto Repinga” escritas en la parte inferior refuerzan la ironía y ambigüedad de la pieza: un grito de frustración, una autodefinición nacida desde la vulgaridad y un guiño sarcástico al agotamiento existencial.
